WGS Systems, LLC was founded in 2007 as a premier defense and homeland security services and contracting firm. Our goal is to provide our customers and the federal government unparalleled excellence in system development, systems engineering, and contract support services. The principles in the company, Bob Wise (President), Kirk Griffin (Vice President of Engineering), and Chuck Swartz (Vice President of Operations), provide a combined experience of over 60 years in the areas of systems development, integration, and contracts administration in the defense industry. We have developed advanced reconnaissance and surveillance systems for: manned and unmanned airborne fixed wing aircraft, rotary wing aircraft, land mobile vehicles, maritime and littoral surface vessels, and man pack applications. Our engineering expertise includes: systems engineering; systems and unit level design; embedded and application software design, integration and test; communications and internetworking for data distribution and reporting; advanced computing systems design for data processing, fusion and exploitation; algorithm development; RF propagation and antenna engineering; and signals and systems simulation and analysis. Bob Wise, President |
|
Mr. Wise provides strong leadership and engineering skills to the organization. During his 22 years in the industry, his experiences in have been broad and varied, working in system engineering, software engineering, embedded systems design and development, and program management. He has been an engineering and division director in multiple organizations and vice president at both Northrop Grumman and L-3 Communications. |

Kirk Griffin, Vice President of Engineering |
|
Mr. Griffin brings 23 years of engineering experience in the defense reconnaissance and surveillance, and commercial wireless industries. He provides expertise in system engineering and development, RF and digital hardware development, software design, algorithm development, system simulation and modeling, and data analysis. He has been the engineering director in three organizations and vice president of engineering at L-3 Communications. |

Warren (“Chuck”) Swartz, Vice President of Operations |
|
Mr. Swartz has over 17 years of experience in defense contracting, and 13 years in the United States Air Force. During his military career, he was involved in program and contract management, and served as an instructor in contract management and quality assurance. Since then, Mr. Swartz has worked in contract management and operations including: contracts, subcontracts, HR, pricing, production, and materiel. He has held positions as a contracts director, and vice president of operations at California Microwave, Inc. |
